PIDC partner, African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ, and DE (AACC) is bringing together mayors from all around the country to discuss the growth and development of Black-owned businesses in its 2nd Annual National Convening of Black Mayors in August. 2nd Annual National Convening of Black Mayors


As we prepare to celebrate National Black Business Month this upcoming August 2022, PIDC partner African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ, and DE (AACC) is hosting its 2nd Annual National Convening of Black Mayors. This year’s convening will take place from August 10 – 12, 2022 in Philadelphia. This convening brings together mayors from all around the country for a series of conversations and strategy roundtables with regional political influencers to discuss shared concerns as well as ideas to encourage the growth and development of Black-owned businesses.

African American Chamber Appoints New Board Leadership


The AACC has new board leadership. The following have joined The AACC board leadership: Chairman, Jovan Goldstein, founder and managing principal of JT Goldstein LLC; vice chairman Bjorn Henriques, host of The Philly Ad Club Podcast; treasurer Krystal Jones, senior vice president and chief financial officer for Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia and secretary, Daivy P. Damberville Esq., senior legal counsel for Power Home Remodeling.
