Pennsylvania and New Jersey Job Creators Quest Grant

Business owners in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area are invited to apply for the new Job Creators Quest Grant from Founders First CDC, the leading non-profit business accelerator program in the country for diverse-led companies. Diverse founders with two or more employees can apply for one of 30 grants totaling $100,000. Plus, grant recipients also receive a scholarship to one of Founders First CDC’s stellar management accelerator programs to chart a growth path to $5M+ in revenue. Comcast RISE Investment Fund

Comcast has announced a third round of cities to receive grants from the Comcast RISE Investment Fund. The Fund provides monetary grants to help small businesses owned by people of color or women grow as they navigate the challenges of the pandemic. Comcast RISE is part of a larger $100 million Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative that Comcast launched in June 2020. This round of the Investment Fund will grant $10,000 each to 100 small businesses in the City of Philadelphia. This is an extension of the current RISE program, which provides businesses the opportunity to apply for marketing and technology services from Comcast Business and Effectv. Comcast RISE has also partnered with Ureeka to provide grant recipients with business coaching to help build skills focusing on company foundation, growing customers, and financial stability. The application window is June 1-14, and the grants will be awarded in July.

2022 Illuminate the Arts Grant

The 2022 Illuminate the Arts Grant is a means to aid in the recovery of Philadelphia’s arts and culture community from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 Illuminate the Arts Grant is a total of $1.5M to be distributed to Philadelphia’s individual artists, small and mid-size nonprofit arts organizations, and small creative enterprises. The grant seeks to financially uplift Philadelphia’s creative sector and support disadvantaged communities, particularly Philadelphia’s Black and Brown communities, that have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Application deadline: Friday, June 3, 2022.
