CLIENT FEATURE: VAULT+VINE
Vault + Vine, formerly Falls Flowers is an eight year old florist and floral design shop, owned and operated by Peicha Chang. The business was formed in 2009 in East Falls where it has steadily grown. This success gave Mrs. Chang the opportunity to move into a new expanded retail location at 3507 Midvale Avenue where PIDC provided a Working Capital and Equipment Loan to complete fit out and equipment purchase.
Vault + Vine is a full-service retail florist selling cut flowers, fresh and dried arrangements, and a selection of indoor & outdoor plants. The company specializes in decorative planning for weddings and commercial events, standing floral orders for offices and homes and floral wire service for out of town orders. In addition to its wide variety of fresh cut flowers and plants, they sell a limited selection of chocolates, candles, greeting cards, soaps, tea, jewelry, ceramics and novelty home goods. The new space offers an immersive retail experience while providing the community with a café, gathering place and small scale event venue. PIDC was excited to learn Vault + Vine is working with another PIDC client, High Point, brewing its coffee daily in the cafe.
Vault + Vine is designed to provide an accessible urban oasis for the residents of East Falls and surrounding neighborhoods. A certified B-Corporation1 – the only florist in Philadelphia to hold this designation, Vault + Vine enjoys a loyal, growing client base and is an active member of the East Falls community.
PIDC is happy to be a part of Vault + Vine’s success story and looks forward to supporting their growth in the East Falls community.
